OBJECTIVE

Manage water demand by installing water monitoring and use of supplementary water sources where possible

SOLUTION

Water monitoring equipment was installed at 5 We Buy Cars facilities across South Africa. Additionally the large surface area of the warehouse roofs were utilised in Gauteng and Cape Town in order to harvest water, which is then filtered through multiple step filtration and used in car washing and bathroom facilities.

RESULTS

Water monitoring empowers the client to better manage water demand and make educated decisions about where to invest in supplementary water sources. Rainwater harvesting will supplement water in rainfall seasons and act as municipal backup.
